About Journal

The International Journal of Biological and Biomedical Research is a distinguished journal that focuses on critical and innovative research within the broad fields of biology and biomedicine. This journal aims to promote original studies and foster meaningful dialogue between traditional and emerging ideas in biological and biomedical sciences and related fields.

Scope: The journal concentrates on six core research areas: medical microbiology, infection and antimicrobial resistance; immunology and molecular biomarkers; clinical biochemistry, physiology and metabolic health; pharmacology, natural products and phytochemistry; molecular and cell biology, cancer biology and computational biology; and, as a secondary area, applied microbial and plant biotechnology. Objectives:

General: The International Journal of Biological and Biomedical Research aligns with global development goals by emphasizing a people-centered approach to recognizing human and social capital for sustainable advancements in biology and biomedicine. This includes promoting sustainable practices and emerging trends that improve the quality of life, focusing on understanding disease mechanisms, developing new therapies, and empowering individuals in healthcare and scientific communities.

Specific:

  • To publish original research and theoretical studies on biological science, biomedical advancements, and public health.
  • To generate interest in issues related to disease prevention, novel treatments, environmental health, and bio-governance at both regional and global levels.
  • The objective is to provide a platform for scholarly discussions on critical biological and biomedical issues and innovations.

Publishing Charges: There is no submission or review fee. An Article Processing Charge is payable only after acceptance; see Article Processing Charges (APC).

Refund Policy:

  • 30% + transaction charges will be deducted if the author cancels the publication within 5 days.
  • No refund will be issued if the author cancels the publication after 5 days or once the article is published.

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.
